Who’s Hilah?!!

Hilah Schutt is a new, but not young, up and coming comedian living and working in the Bay Area. She is taking her years of being a stand-up mom and spinning that perspective into material that leaves audiences nodding their heads in agreement, shaking their heads in wonder, and laughing loud and long. Her refreshing and honest take on motherhood, marriage and friendship through middle-age is not to be missed.

She has a knack for timing and connecting with audiences.  After a comic debut among friends, she was flooded with offers to perform in a variety of venues with audiences of all sizes. Of course, she loves doing stand-up at clubs and bars, but her creative genius really shines when she delivers unique and hilarious experiences like her Comedy Trunk Show and Bits and Bending (comedy + yoga). 

She graduated from the University of Colorado in 1994 after meeting and falling in love with her now husband, Jake. After years of dating (a few too many for this southern girl) they married and relocated to the Bay Area. Three kids quickly followed and they have been fuel for her fodder since their arrival. They are wildly supportive of her comedic endeavors, as long as she doesn’t talk about puberty.
